Francis DiScala, Jr.

Lead Attorney

Trial attorney Francis "Frank" DiScala, Jr., has devoted his talents to presenting personal-injury, criminal defense, business and family cases as a principal with DiScala and DiScala LLC of Norwalk, Connecticut. He has had more than two thousand personal injury clients, and his efforts have resulted in millions of dollars for his clients. Frank DiScala maintains licensure with state and federal courts.

Frank DiScala has had a noteworthy and newsworthy career. Actor Kirk Douglas's son, Eric (brother to actor Michael Douglas), selected him to defend Douglas when he was charged with six felony criminal offenses. After more than a year battling the state and a multi-week trial, DiScala won the case with a record 15-minute not guilty verdict.

Following that victory, Court TV relied upon DiScala for his expert opinion on nationally-televised landmark legal cases, including the Anna Nicole Smith trial, the Michael Skakel murder trial, and many more. Also, he has been a guest on CNN News with Nancy Grace.

From wrongful death incidents to construction accidents, Frank DiScala and his law firm handle a wide range of personal injury and criminal defense cases. Through his courtroom-tested trial tactics and creative investigation methods, Mr. DiScala has recovered, tried, and settled cases that have generated millions of dollars throughout his career. Of particular note is Frank DiScala’s growing reputation as a leader in the ongoing development of Connecticut law in regard to dog bite assaults in the State. Such case of Auster v. the Norwalk United Methodist Church is the first named of three cases in the Connecticut judicial website on dog bite law.

Frank DiScala completed his degree at the University of Connecticut. He was inducted into three national honor societies (Alpha Lamba Beta, Alpha Lamba Delta and Psi Chi). DiScala continued his commitment to his studies as a student at the New England School of Law in Boston. As a law student, he focused on litigation studies and completed an internship with the Office of the Attorney General of Massachusetts, Public Protection Bureau.
